Driving Lives CIC Training Academy is a socially responsible organization committed to empowering individuals facing barriers to employment and social integration through comprehensive logistics training courses.
Located in Bolton, Greater Manchester, we offer tailored programs to cater to diverse needs, focusing on ex-offenders, people with disabilities, long-term unemployed, and other marginalized individuals.
Our goal is to create positive change in our community by providing participants with the skills and support they need to secure stable and fulfilling employment in the logistics sector.

Driving Lives Training Academy
Driving Lives Group delivers a unique logistics sector-based driver training and work experience programme, intending to upskill and prepare a broad range of individuals for a sustainable career in the transport and logistics sector.
Eligibility in respect of qualifying age groups is between 17 and 55. It is available to both male and female candidates with no social or academic exclusions.
The UK currently has a Professional Driver Shortage of over 150,00 distributed between small van-based delivery drivers through to large HGV drivers. Renumeration packages for qualified, experienced, and committed drivers are substantial with much scope for enhancement and career progression.
The programme will provide a broad range of qualifications and skills to its candidates over an 8 week period, while providing each candidate with the opportunity for employment placement on successful completion.
Delivery will be via various methods and platforms, including distance learning by qualified trainers, drivers, mentors and tutors, hands on workplace tuition and classroom groups.
The candidates need only hold a valid UK driving licence and be of reasonable health and be available for either full or part time employment on completion.
Each candidate will on completion be first-hand experienced in all elements of the transport and logistics sector, legal requirements and working practices both employers and the industry require.
Candidates will be fully supported and mentored via their individual DLG work coach to engage in a unique programme of both practical and theory learning within a multitude of platforms, including ‘Lived Learning’ within the Driving Lives transport division operating throughout the north of England.
