Urban Reersteer Inductions

 

A unique 1 day course delivered from our Northwest training academy or if you choose, from your own premises.

This course is aimed at employers’ fleet manager’s and drivers operating a rear steer fleet. We offer a hands on provision that entails day to day operations, safety and awarenesss for all drivers new to this delivery model.

The course includes simluted loading and unloading, taillift reversing, safety compliance and maintenance.

Double Deckers

 

We help you get familiarised with all aspects of double deck trailers, how to prepare the trailer for each specific load, load grouping, general loading and unloading and safe use of lifts.

 

Floating Decks

 

Similar to double deck trailer training we help you understand the operations required to safely load and unload the most effient way possible.

Temperature Controlled Units

 

This course intends to give candidates an overview of the industry and an introduction to the temperature control equipment on the road, from light commercial vehicles to reefer trailers.

This course involves; The fundamentals of refrigeration, The refrigeration unit, Unit operation and basic controls, Common Faults and an overview of the current legislation.

Food & Hygiene compliance

 

We offer best in class food hygiene training at levels 1, 2, 3, and level 2 of the HACCP system.

Our courses on food hygiene cover essential topics like food preparation, cross-contamination, handling allergens, and personal hygiene.

You’ll also get a downloadable Food Hygiene certificate after the course is over.

Tail Lift Operations

 

This lesson discusses how platforms should be properly loaded and unloaded as well as the safety features installed on tail lifts, how they work, and how they should be used.

Also, the course covers operating at heights, pre-use inspections, and legislation pertaining to the safe operation of tail lifts.

This course combines theory and practical, and it concludes with an examination.

Successful applicants receive certificate that is valid for three years.
